Our Goodnight Burbank Anchors
Kelly Jones - Co-Anchor
Kelly Jones has much in common with her older sister
Susan. They both have the same parents. They both
graduated Pat Robertson University in Virginia Beach.
And now they can add co-anchoring Goodnight Burbank to
the list! Susan loves to joke that "Kelly's like my
shadow. Always under my feet". But Kelly thinks that
it's only fair she's followed in her sister's
footsteps because "someone has to make the Jones'
family look good!". Kelly was a cheerleader and
prom queen, both of which, she's quick to note, that
Susan wasn't. And now she's moved to the Greater Los
Angeles area from Virginia where she was hosting "Good
Afternoon Arlington". Kelly's hobbies include
golfing, reading Ann Coulter, and helping out at her
local Church when time permits.

podcasts are:
Gordon Winston-Smythe - Co-Anchor
Hailing from Manchester, England, Gordon moved to the
US in '97 because he wanted to better understand the
culture that produced five different home shopping
networks. With a background in radio shipping news,
Gordon's unique stylings quickly found a home at
Channel 6. He loves Burbank and all nine of its
restaurants. Gordon's divorced, enjoys golf, and quiet weekends avoiding LA traffic.
Gordon's favorite
podcasts are:
Trisha Sakamoto - Weather
Trisha is second-generation-once-removed American; her
adoptive parents are actually from China. Trisha
graduated from the University of Michigan and
initially wanted to become a lawyer for animal rights
until Doctors told her she needed to eat meat to
survive (Trisha suffers from a rare bone disorder).
Soon after rejecting PETA, Trisha discovered a
penchant for green screens and became Michigan's first
Weather Girl to incorporate astrology into her
forecast. She's a Virgo, single, and loves seafood
(but no longer has crabs).
Trisha's favorite
podcasts are:
Kenny Schickler - Business
Kenny's background is in print. He comes to Goodnight
Burbank from the LA Times where he was their premiere
business reporter for 8 years. Kenny, who hails from
Orange County, set his sights on broadcast news after
seeing a re-run of Broadcast News and strongly
identifying with the character portrayed by William
Hurt. When not working Wall Street, Kenny enjoys
meeting up with his friends for gaming weekends,
computer dating, and computer dating. He insists on
giving a shout out to the love of his life, so here it
is: "Hi Mom! Be home soon!".
Kenny's favorite
podcasts are:
Dane Rivers - Tech
Dane hails from Seattle where he was a stand up comic
for many years before moving to LA. He recently
joined the staff of Goodnight Burbank as the Tech Desk
correspondent in a bid by management to secure the
younger viewer. Dane has appeared in every season of
Last Comic Standing, albeit in the audition process
segments. He has entered Seattle's Best Comic
competition on many occasions, and can often be seen
performing at Uncle Chuckles' Open Mic night.

podcasts are:
Susan Jones - Co-Anchor
Susan's from Nantucket and delights in reciting her
own cleaned up version of that infamous limerick at
dinner parties. Graduating magna cum laude in
Christian Studies from Pat Robertson University, Susan
was the entertainment reporter at Fort Lauderdale's
Channel 2 before setting her sights on the headier
market of Burbank. Susan's married to Bob, an out of
work computer programmer, and recently gave birth to
their first child George. George has a congenital
heart defect so please email if you know any donors!
Susan's favorite
podcasts are:
Zoe Travis - Sports Desk
Zoe began her career at Goodnight Burbank as the
make-up girl but quickly rose to a Sports Anchor where
she's already won awards for her stunning reports
exposing Dog Fighting, Cock Fighting and Manatee
Wrestling. Despite this, Zoe sometimes still helps
out with make-up. She's a fully paid up Mensan and
people gossip that she's Gordon Winston-Smythe's
girlfriend.
Zoe's favorite
podcasts are:
Christy Allison - Make Up
Christy hails from Tennessee and moved out to Burbank
5 years ago where she spends her spare time raising
horses in Rancho Ramirez. Christy is a trust-fund
baby and, despite having millions in the bank and
various off-shore vaults, enjoys working in make-up.
A scientologist for over 10 years, she counts John
Travolta and Tom Cruise among her closest friends.
Christy would love to audit you but for legal reasons
we won't allow it.
Christy's favorite
podcasts are:
Autumn Stanton - Reporter
Autumn is GNB's crack field reporter, and flies all
over the world on assignments that ensure you get the
news straight from the source. She graduated with
honors from Yale, double-majoring in Journalism and
Quantum Physics. Despite that, she's still working
for a local newscast and we're thankful for it. She's
single because she "doesn't have time for a social
life!".
Autumn's favorite
podcasts are:
Taylor McColl - Reporter, NBC
Taylor is not an official Goodnight Burbank reporter -
she actually works on assignment for NBC - but appears
so often on satellite feeds and b-roll that we thought
we'd include her. Taylor is BFF with Autumn; they're
actually roommates, and graduated Yale Online
Community College (YOCC) with a degree of some sort in
TV reporting. Taylor has won 3 Peabodys, 4 Emmys and
has been made an honoray Yalee by Yale's Journalism
School.
Taylor's favorite
podcasts are:
Kitty Robinson - Exec Producer
Kitty joined the Goodnight Burbank newsteam in late
'06 as producer. She quickly revamped the show and
helped it jump in ratings from #7 to #5 where it now
hovers. Kitty has worked in news for many years now
and before coming to Burbank worked at CNN in Atlanta
where she was responsible for firing Aaron Brown,
Bernard Shaw, Bill Hemmer and many, many others.
Kitty is single and counts drinking among her many hobbies.
Kitty's favorite
podcasts are:
Tracy Stacy - Weather
Tracy was born in Long Island but, as the daughter of
a travelling betamax salesman, spent her life moving
from town to town. She moved to Los Angeles in '05
after graduating Broward Community College with an AA
in Cryptozoology. Tracy has served a dizzying number
of roles on Goodnight Burbank; from the host of a
dog-adoption segment to weather girl. She likes rock
climbing, hiking and shopping.
Tracy's favorite
podcasts are:
Frank Warfield - Station Manager
Frank is a Burbankian through and through. He has
been station manager at Goodnight Burbank since the
early 90's and has guided it through many incarnations
and looks. Frank's favorite was the cracked neon sign
imagery of '97 but is very happy with the palm
trees/crescent moon look that GNB currently hosts.
Frank has three ex-wives, five children and possibly
one grand-child.
Frank's favorite
podcasts are:
Sam Jenkins - Sports
A University of Florida graduate, Sam was the
sports anchor for WSVN-Miami but sadly had to leave for legal reasons. She then
joined the team at WNYW Fox 5 in NYC but departed after just three months, again
under the cloud of sexual harrassment. But New York's loss was Burbank's gain,
and Sam joined GNB just 5 months ago. Unfortunately, Sam has had to leave
the GNB show because of yet another lawsuit (this time including breaking
& entering) but she's happy to still accept fan mail at "Cellmate #27,
Jenkins, S" in the Burbank Municipal Jailhouse.
